Commercial, Yugo
Building growth, partnerships and new opportunities.
Originally from Australia, I’ve built my career across commercial, operational and client-facing roles, focused on turning opportunity into long-term, sustainable growth. I’m motivated by solving complex challenges, building strong partnerships and helping businesses expand into new markets.
At Yugo, I lead Business Development across the UK, Ireland and Europe, working closely with investors, developers and partners to grow our platform and strengthen our presence across key regions. What drew me to Yugo was its entrepreneurial mindset and global ambition. There’s genuine trust to think commercially, challenge ideas and take ownership, which creates real impact.
What keeps me engaged is the pace and variety of the role. Whether structuring new partnerships or aligning teams across multiple countries to deliver projects, I enjoy working at the intersection of strategy, people and execution.

Area Manager, Yugo
Always learning. Always evolving. That’s what keeps the work interesting.
After finishing my studies in Galway, Ireland, I started my career working in the hotel industry which provides a great training platform to move into student accomodation. I worked across various brands and learnt the importance of how a brand should speak for itself. When I joined Yugo as a city manager in Cork, I felt a natural affinity with the business from day one. After just two and a half years, I was fortunate enough to be promoted to Area Manager where I now look after the whole of Ireland portfolio. Every day is different and I love that variety to my job.

Inclusion isn’t a buzzword here. It’s how we work every day.
I moved to the UK in 2019 from Portugal and I started working in a family office specializing in Real Estate portfolios and this gave me exposure to purpose build student accommodation. I then joined Yugo’s commercial team in November 2024. I’ve always believed diverse perspectives lead to better outcomes, and Yugo lives that belief. My career has grown alongside the business, and that shared journey creates a strong sense of belonging and purpose.

Trust changes how people work. You feel it immediately here.
I joined Yugo in November 2022 as a Management Accountant after completing my MSc in Accounting and Finance from Oxford Brookes University. From the very beginning, I felt a strong sense of trust and belonging, built through supportive relationships with my peers, which I value greatly. Yugo’s people-focused reputation not only met but exceeded my expectations, as I’ve always felt genuinely valued for what I bring to the team and trusted to deliver.

Business Development, Yugo
No two days are the same. And that’s exactly how I like it!
I started life at the Dot group working in GSA as an Investment Finance Manager . My role developed to have a wider Portfolio Management focus across UK & Ireland and then latterly I was promoted to Transactions Director with an APAC and US focus. After almost 10 years at GSA I was given the opportunity to move into Yugo, another business in the Dot Group; where I now head up the Commercial team and our growth efforts globally. I feel the personal and professional development opportunities I’ve experienced are genuinely available to everyone in our Group, and I’m taking full advantage of having worked across multiple businesses within the Dot Group to share learning and insights throughout our ecosystem.

Curious by nature. Energised by people. So many opportunities to grow your career.
I’ve spent my career in fast-moving environments where collaboration really matters, and that’s what drew me to GSA. I joined in March 2022 from a French bank where I was working in corporate credit looking after business in South America. I started in GSA as portfolio analyst for UK and Ireland and then grew my career to my current position as portfolio manager for France. Here, people are trusted to own their ideas and encouraged to keep learning. The culture is ambitious but genuinely supportive, which makes it easy to do your best work. I love being part of a business where individuality is valued and success is shared.

Student Ambassador, Dot
Growing from a student resident to intern is quite the journey.
I started my experience with Yugo as a student at Southampton University and then got a job as a Student Ambassador at Yugo Austen House. I balanced community building with hands-on operational experience. I ran monthly events for over 300 students, creating activities that aligned with Yugo’s key pillars and genuinely enriched resident life. Working closely with ambassadors at Austen House and Crescent Place, I helped deliver everything from charity drives and sports tournaments to cultural celebrations and joint-property events. I then applied for the Dot group internship and was fortunate to be one of 12 interns in 2025. This was a great experience which led to being employed as an intern for an additional 8 months. I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Learning never stops here — and that’s by design. Growth is part of the culture, not an afterthought.
I joined the Dot Group in 2025 from a sovereign wealth fund based in London where I had spent the last 15 years. I decided to join the Dot Group as I wanted to work in an entrepreneurial environment with global exposure. Being in the Dot team provides a unique insight into the group companies. What stood out was the openness to new ideas and perspectives. People genuinely listen, support each other, and celebrate progress together. It’s an environment where you feel valued and challenged in equal measure.

Real Estate, GSA
Fast-paced, collaborative, and refreshingly real. That’s GSA in a nutshell.
Born in Mauritius, I moved to the UK to complete my degree in engineering before pivoting to Audit in one of the big 4 professional services firms. I then started my career in real estate (debt lending) before moving to GSA in 2019. I am now the European Transactions Manager, responsible for the identification and execution of investments across UK and mainland Europe. My career has been built around ownership and accountability, and this is a place where both are encouraged. Ideas move quickly here, and everyone has a voice. People love working at GSA because the culture is honest, energising, and built on trust.

Teamwork isn’t a slogan here — it’s how things work. And that makes all the difference.
My background spans compliance, risk and governance roles across a number of sectors including environmental services, FMCG and real estate. I originally joined GSA from financial services in 2021 but then moved into a group wide role in Dot to support our growth strategy. Collaboration has always been my focus. At the Dot Group, people support each other and share ownership of outcomes. It’s an environment that pushes you to improve while giving you the space to learn.

Opportunities to move quickly and make a real impact.
After many years in large global online tech organisations in both New Zealand and the UK, joining Student.com, a smaller, more nimble brand has been a refreshing change. From day 1 I’ve been trusted to use my experience and make impactful decisions that are quickly implemented. This pace and trust create an environment of learning quickly and continuously improving.

Performance and people can go hand in hand. Here, they absolutely do.
Prior to working with GSA, I had worked with US banks on the lending side in both Real Estate and Technology (Silicon Valley) and Sponsor Finance. I moved from the US to the UK and then joined GSA in 2020 to get exposure from the other side of the lending table and to join a smaller business where you can make a difference and really be able to witness your impact on the company’s success such as watching GSA’s AUM grow. With experience in leadership roles, I was drawn to GSA’s people-first mindset. The culture empowers individuals to do their best work while supporting each other along the way. That balance is why people choose to stay and grow here.

A great place to start — and build — your career. I’ve experienced that first-hand.
I studied accounting at university in south Africa before moved in one of the big 4 accounting firms and gaining my CA qualification. I then moved to the UK in 2023 and joined GSA as a Finance Manager. I have since progressed to Fund Controller. Joining GSA early in my career gave me opportunities I didn’t expect so quickly. You’re trusted, supported, and encouraged to stretch yourself. Growth here is real, not just promised.

People & Culture, Student.com
Versatility is valued here. And curiosity is encouraged.
My career spans specialist and generalist People & Culture roles, and Student.com allows me to bring all of my experience together into my Head of People & Culture role. No two days at the same and I love the variety I have in my role. Supportive leadership and strong collaboration create an environment where people thrive.

Individuality isn’t just accepted — it’s celebrated. That’s why I feel at home here.
I joined GSA in 2023 from a professional services firm where I was part of the Audit team. I was looking for a culture that values difference, and GSA delivers. Collaboration comes naturally, and people are encouraged to bring their whole selves to work. GSA gives me the autonomy to get my work done in a flexible way.

Global Head of Investor Solutions GSA
High standards. Strong support. The best kind of balance.
I am the Global Head of Investor Solutions at GSA. I joined GSA initially where I was head of New Market Entry & Transactions. I decided to venture out to gain additional industry experience and then returned many years later to what is now the Investor Solutions team. What made me return was the culture that challenges people to perform while genuinely supporting their wellbeing and growth, two things that are extremely important to me personally.

A supportive start makes all the difference. I’ve felt that from day one.
I recently joined the Dot group from the Banking industry having worked on real estate transactions. My career has been shaped by variety, and the Dot Group offers continuous opportunities to learn. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I joined the Dot Group but the open, collaborative culture makes tackling new challenges genuinely enjoyable especially with such amazing colleagues.

Investment Management, GSA
A place where development feels personal. Not generic or one-size-fits-all.
Born in South Africa, I studied accounting at university. I moved to the UK in 2021 and worked in Audit real estate where I was auditing FTSE 100 companies. My interests have always lain in financial services, which is one of the many reasons I joined GSA in 2024 as a Fund Finance Manager. I joined at a point where learning and mentorship really mattered to me. From the start, I felt encouraged to take ownership of my growth. The openness, feedback, and support here make it a place where you can build real confidence in your career.

Ambition with authenticity. That’s what drew me in.
Having worked in various industries in Bermuda and London, I joined the Real Estate industry and have never looked back. After nearly a decade with the UK’s largest Purpose Built Student Accomodation manager across a variety of finance, strategy and investment roles, I joined GSA in 2020 and I now lead the European Portfolio team, overseeing the investment and management of $4.3bn of assets across five countries. I was looking for a company with clear values and strong community. The Dot Group & GSA brings driven, supportive people together to build something meaningful — and that’s what makes it special.

People & Culture, GSA
Smart people. Kind culture. A powerful combination.
I recently joined GSA as the Head of Talent & People Partnering. I hadn’t worked for a student housing company before I joined, but colleagues are extremely willing to share their knowledge with you. I’m motivated by development and collaboration, and GSA delivers both. My role has evolved through varied challenges, and the openness here makes every day engaging and rewarding.

Where ambition meets balance. That’s a rare combination.
Born and raised in New Zealand, I started my career in one of the big 4 professional services businesses working in corporate finance. I then moved into investment banking, working with investors in Asia before I moved to the Dot group in 2024 as Associate Director in Corporate Development, part of the Group wide Commercial Team. Having worked in different-sized organisations, I value environments where individuals matter. The Dot Group supports my growth while recognising that everyone’s journey is different.

Embracing diversity makes the journey better. That’s been my experience here.
I’ve always believed that a diversity of perspectives makes for a better professional journey. I’ve spent the last two decades navigating the UK Real Estate market with a dedicated focus on asset management, a path that led me to join GSA as a Consultant in 2025. What stands out to me most is the culture—it’s genuinely inclusive and positive. At GSA, we live and breathe diversity through our shared work and common goals.
